What is a Quality Backlink?
A Quality Backlink is a link from a source site to a destination site that meets the following characteristics.
- The content of the source web page is closely related to the content of the destination web page.
- The authority of the source web page is at least twice as high as the authority of the destination web page.
- The traffic of the source web page is at least twice as high as the traffic of the destination web page.
- The backlink anchor text is explanatory and makes it clear to the user and crawlers where it links to.
- By default the backlink is nofollow, but it has the paid option of becoming dofollow.
